Mongolian Parks Project

In 2004 I co-founded Conservation Ink to help Mongolia’s struggling national parks by putting them on the map, literally.  Our non-profit has a simple mission – to publish postcards, maps and other interpretive materials that recognize, celebrate and promote the importance national parks as national treasures.   Though the national dream is to protect 30 percent of the country, Mongolia’s main economic driver is mining.

How to balance the two is Mongolia’s ongoing challenge.
