Our Environment
Ted is committed to environmental journalism. As a member of the society of Environmental Journalists, Ted has covered conservation issues worldwide, from the plight of Africa's mountain gorillas to American's diverse and controversial relationship to its own land. His excellence in the field earned him a Ted Scripp's Fellowship in Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado in 2001. The following year, Ted co-founded Conservation Ink, a non-profit that publishes nature guides for national parks in developing countries, returning the profits to the parks. Supported by a National Geographic grant, the initial project focuses on Mongolian parks.
